Hello members of Infineon Raceway! I am new here as I have been racing at Famoso for a few years now. I anticipate racing at Infineon for 2010 and have a question about the Summit Series held here. I notice the schedule reflects Wednesday Night Drags as well as Bracket Drags thus my Question- Are the Summit Series drags held on wednesdays or are they all held on the weekend?

Thank you in advance.

Steve

Hi Steve,

All of the Summit E.T. Series events are on weekends and / or holidays and are always daytime races with no sound restrictions. All Wednesday Night Drag events are limited to cars with mufflers and a sound restriction of 115 decibels. I hope this helps - Dave

Hi Steve! welcome to the North...

wednesday nights are "grudge nights" by some standards, but make no mistake about it-it's a drag race.
street cars, high shcool, a jackpot class with 100% pay back, a "comp rod" class(sort of a run what you brung with anything from 15 second street cars to 9 second drag cars)

You're gonna love the cooler conditions-the head winds may take some getting used to...but the racers...we're just a bunch of happy folks, good track, great atmosphere...

as for the Summit ET races, they are alot like yours, except it's cooler temps, day time racing, and BETTER PAY OUTS!!!

heads-up though...there's a reason Team Infineon has won so many TEAM championships at the ET FINALS...we have some tough racers...real tough.

what is your car((yr/make/model)

also, check out the DRAG STRIPS seperate topic area.
