And where exactly were the infield seats for $150.00,I couldn't see them from where we were sitting in Main BN about 28 rows up.

From what I saw sittting in turn 1 they were standing on the back strech by turn2

I called the track this morning and spoke to Nancy.I inquired as to who won the Las Veagas giveaway,and she told me the names would be posted on the NHMS website as soon as the management released the names.
 
I was under the assumption that the names would be announced prerace.
So much for assuming!

It looked like there were some temporary type bleachers on the back stretch for those $150 seats. Does anyone know anyone who actually sat there-I am not sure how much you could see from that spot. Would be interested to hear first-hand how it was.

Yes the infield location was just coming off of 2, I don't think that you can see much from there. I think I'll keep my grandstand seats thankyou very much!

I inquired as to when the winners would be announced for the Lost Wages Giveaway,and she said to check the website.After picking  the phone up off the floor from my uncontrollable fit of laughter,I asked when I should start making plans to goLOL
 
It's probably going to be like everything else as of late,and down to the last minute before the announcement is made public.

Why would you want to know NOW?                                                                                      You don't need to ask the boss for time off.                                                                            You don't need to find a babysitter or housesitter.                                                                  You don't have to find someone to feed the dog or cat.                                                         You don't need to find a ride to the airport (just leave it in the lot for the vandels).              You don't need to pack your clothes or buy new ones.                                                           SO WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO KNOW NOW?        Wink

I'm pretty sure that they pick the winner well before the race. In June Lenox gave away their Site Commander truck that had a Segway in it, and I used to work for Segway and did some work with Lenox on that deal.  Talking to the Lenox folks at the track on Saturday of the race weekend they said the winner had already been selected and had taken all the publicity photos well before the race.
