I.m just hoping that Kentucky Speedway can be added into this forum as another subject area - like the other tracks are.  It would be nice to have discussion with fellow season ticket holders!
 
It's a great track and I look forward to renewing my season tickets there, regardless of whether the details with the Cup date work out.  I just wish the Indycar series was still racing in the summer instead of Labor Day Saturday night.  That's a night that I'll never be able to attend a race at Kentucky Speedway due to work, so I hope that date changes down the road.  Otherwise I'll eventually have to drop those tickets and put that money into Chicagoland.  I REALLY don't want to do that and am willing to be patient for a year or two.
 
If the race is on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, I could still go -- I'm rooting for that!
 
The recent improvements made by SMI are outstanding and the track appears close to ready for a cup date, if that ends up happening.  Including VIP parking and pit passes with season ticket packages makes this track affordable and fun.  Keep up the good work!

I was hoping Kentucky would add a section here, too. Hopefully they will soon. Kentucky is a great facility and the staff is good to work with.

Agreed.  I've been to about a dozen tracks (IMS, SMI tracks, ISC tracks) and the experience at Kentucky ranks up with the top courses.  There's only one Bristol and Daytona, and many tracks may be like Kentucky, but few are more fun.

I have been to Kentucky several times.  It is a great track. My only problem with the track is parking and traffic flow.

 i hear ya' amped. we usually kick back and watch the controlled chaos for an hour to 1 1/2 just to let it all die down. but, i do understand your line of thinkin'! rhitsid? i'm with ya'! kentucky9 (bristol board member) was talking about this a while ago and i think even sent a note to the smi people. i hope they add 'er on here as well! i love the place! kentucky9 and i sit in gs3 section i. are ya' anywhere close????

I'm very close -- we're at the top of GS3K -- right next to the club seats.  Some of the best seats in racing!  Not sure I can justify the renewal due to the Labor Day dates though -- I don't think I can ever go to either race on that weekend.  I REALLY want to renew though!  We'll see...
