I hated to see Fulmer go-He's been a great coach-but his time was up. I'm with cooler on UT's new coach-I like him now but will have to see how he does on recruiting & picking his coaching staff before saying anymore.P.S. Hey K9, Do you know where Steve Spuriers from? Johnson City,TN- Yeap- one of the most hated man in UT football is from Tennessee & still visits regularly to see his relatives(just a piece of useless info I threw in)

Yeah, had to listen to the Cowboy fans.
Sweet victory for the Stillers shut 'em up, though.
We've got a toughy at the ratbirds, for sure! Then, off to Titan land. A team that I actually like a lot, but like rattling Dawg's cage even MORE!!!! hahahaha. It should be an interesting two weeks for Pittsburgh fans!!!!!
By the way, Dawg!!!! I'm just goofin' on ya about the Titans on the 'looks like we have a plan' thread!! you guys have the division locked up and the first round bye sealed. But, I just can't give ya' the AFC YET!!! Truthfully, I hope the numbers work out to where it's a Steelers/Titans AFC Championship game. THAT would be a frakin' GREAT game. One for the history books, I'm perty sure! Maybe we can have a bet if it comes to that game. You know the drill, if Pittsburgh wins, you wear a Steelers hat to Bristol!!! If the Titans win, I wear the Titans cap to Bristol? Sounds like a bet to me!!! But, let's get BOTH those teams to the AFC Championship first!!!!

Good bet guys-Dawg I've even got a couple of Steeler shirts you could wear over the weekend too. LOL! I really hope it comes down to a Steeler/Titan championship game. The 2 best teams battling it out is how it should be. |

Even though I am a Steelers fan I have to say the refs missed that call. I don't really think Holmes got the ball across the plain of the endzone. But the refs made the call so I'll take it. Hell Yeah division champs! Huge game next week against the Titans for home field advantage in the playoffs. Speaking of the Titans why didn't Fisher go for the field goal on 4th and 3? They've got a Pro Bowl kicker who has made a 60 yarder before. I know a 49 yard kick isn't automatic but they were only down 1. I didn't understand that call.

I think it's a GREAT deal for Iowa State!!!!!
Iowa State gets $750,000. That's as good as Bowl Game money, AND they get rid of a rotten coach (5-19 for the last two seasons)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like a win/win for ISU!!! (sorry Auburn)
