As far as I understand you want to rent nascar headset ? But why you don't want to buy some headset concenient for your personal needs? Sometimes it is not easy to choose good headset, because it can be not very comfortable for your head and I recommend to take this seriously.

As for me, I use BTH Motorola headset. 80 dollars approximately, foun on Ebay. And I am satisfied. So, it would be better to keep it in hand before using.

I'm a total nascar noob and my son wants to attend a race.  Got my tix for AMS 2/25 and was told we could rent headsets there to listen to the crews.  My boy definitely wants to do that...

Question is, what kind of headsets are these that they rent, and can I use a pilot's headset to tune to whatever channel, or is it a plug in?  Interested in finding out what it might take to buy one vs rent.  We have access to pilot's headsets, so that's why I ask about those.
